Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WatchComedy.live and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by 2736861 Ontario Inc. d/b/a WatchComedy ("WatchComedy," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility and account

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have legal guardian consent where permitted) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

2) Workspaces, roles, and team access

The Service supports workspaces for comics and clubs. Workspace owners/admins may invite members and assign permissions. You are responsible for ensuring your workspace members comply with these Terms.

3) Subscriptions, billing, and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe).
• Subscription fees, renewal terms, and plan features are described on our pricing page or in-product checkout.
• Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable and prorations may not be provided for partial periods.
• We may change pricing or plans with notice as required by law.

4) Your content and license

"User Content" means content you upload, create, or submit (text, images, videos, event data, branding assets, etc.).

You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant WatchComedy a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your User Content only as necessary to provide and improve the Service, including generating outputs you request.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and use your User Content and that it does not infringe others' rights.

5) AI-generated content

The Service may generate content using AI. You understand that outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before publishing or relying on them. You will not use AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation.
• Post or generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or overload the Service.
• Bypass access controls or attempt unauthorized access.
• Upload malware or malicious code.
• Use the Service to spam or run deceptive marketing practices.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7) Integrations and third-party services

If you connect third-party services (social platforms, analytics, etc.), their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party services and may modify or discontinue integrations at any time.

8) Communications

You consent to receive service-related communications (e.g., security notices, billing notices, onboarding emails). Marketing communications will be provided as permitted by law and may include opt-out options.

9) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if we must comply with law, or to protect the Service and users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain certain data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10) Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, designs, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by WatchComedy and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.

11) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchComedy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchComedy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. WatchComedy's total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to WatchComedy for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or $100 if you have not paid).

Some jurisdictions limit these exclusions; in such cases they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WatchComedy from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

14) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by law.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes as required by law. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
